During our Wine and Dine trip we had one full day to spend at the parks, so we opted to spend the day at my favorite park, and the most kid friendly park, Magic Kingdom. We arrived around 10:00, and upon arrival were greeted by all of the beautiful Christmas decorations. We spent some time on Main Street enjoying the decorations, and watched the Main Street Trolley Show.
Afterwards, we headed to Adventureland and rode Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Since we thought that little man might take a nap afterwards, we decided to walk around Adventureland and Liberty Square, including a stop inside of the Christmas shop. After a very short nap, we headed back to Adventureland and had lunch at Pecos Bill.
After lunch we had a Fast Pass to see Mickey Mouse, and I was hoping that little man would enjoy seeing Mickey just as much as he did back in August. While he did enjoy seeing Mickey, it was nowhere near the same reaction, I’m sure driven by the fact that he was tired and in need of a nap.
But little man couldn’t go down for a nap yet because he had a very special appointment…an appointment for his first haircut! We headed across town square to the Harmony Barber Shop, where little man’s hair was trimmed. He did so well, and didn’t fight us once during his hair cut!
After his hair cut, he immediately fell asleep in the stroller, so we decided to do some shopping on Main Street. After doing some shopping, we had Fast Passes over in Fantasyland, and we took turns riding. Preston and I rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and his dad rode Peter Pan, and then once little man woke up we rode Dumbo. Then, it was off to Adventureland since we had a Fast Pass for Jungle Cruise.
Dinner that night was at the new Jungle Navigation Co. We all thought the food was absolutely delicious!
After dinner, we changed little man into his pajamas and headed back to Fantasyland since we had a Fast Pass for Winnie the Pooh. And then it was bedtime for little man. He fell asleep while drinking his bottle, and then continued to stay asleep after we put him in his stroller. We’re so thankful that he’s as good of a stroller sleeper as he is, since it allowed us to continue to enjoy the park even after he fell asleep. In the end, we decided to call it an early night since the 10k was the next morning, and left the park shortly after little man fell asleep.
