Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t just about eating healthy and exercising. No matter how closely those who eat healthy watch the food that they eat, its often difficult to focus on getting all of the essential nutrients and vitamins solely through food. That’s where vitamins and other supplements come into play.
One of the things I hate most about taking vitamins is the poor taste of most of them, and the difficulty I face in swallowing most pills. Since vitamins also tend to upset my stomach, I find that I have to take them with dinner instead of breakfast when my stomach isn’t empty. Despite how necessary I know it is to take my vitamins, especially now that I’m pregnant, it doesn’t change the fact that I usually hate taking them because of how I feel while I’m swallowing them or how I feel once I start to digest them.
Enter SmartyPants Vitamins. These vitamins are unlike traditional vitamins. Think kid friendly, but made for adults. These vitamin gummies look and taste like gummy bears, but are packed full of essential vitamins that we all need to take everyday. Not only do they taste great, but in the almost two weeks that I’ve been using them my stomach hasn’t been upset by them once. Because they taste great, I actually find myself wanting to eat more of them than you’re supposed to on a daily basis.
I was sent and tried out the SmartyPants Adult Complete Vitamins. Some of the highlights of these vitamins include:
- They are only gummy multivitamin on the market that contains omega 3s and vitamin D3
- They don’t contain any high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors, or preservatives
- They are gluten free and casein free

QOTD: How do you ensure that you get your daily recommended vitamins?
As an elite distance runner I am very careful to make sure I get all the vitamins I need in order to perform to my best abilities. I eat mostly a plant based diet but always take a multi vitamin to get everything I need.
I take vitamin b and a multi vitamin every day. But I hate swallowing pills and vitamins are usually huge! So I just take my sons’ gummy vitamins lol! So these look great!!!
I actually take a prenatal vitamin that helps me get the extra nutrients I may be missing from my diet. As well as some supplements in protein shakes each day!
I take calcium, Glucosamine and a multi vitamin. I totally agree with you about swallowing pills. I gag almost every time I take any pill except the tiny ones! A chewable vitamin would be great for me.
I take probiotics, calcium, vitamin D/zinc. If they were gummy I’d be MUCH better about taking them every day!
I take either a multivitamin or Emergen-C, but I love Smarty Pants! I love that they are little tummies so they can feel like dessert 🙂
Do you usually take them all at once or spread them out throughout the day?
I’ve been spreading them out throughout the day.
I have a multivitamin but then I forget to take it half of the time
I gotta get me some fun vitamins. All of mine look and tasty like vitamins. Yuck!
I love gummy vitamins! I try to have a plant-based protein smoothie daily and take multi-vitamin to get my recommended vitamins in.
I try to get my vitamins from food, but I do take iron supplements and calcium as well- both are very important for women.
These actually look pretty good:) My doctors have me taking over the counter pre-natals, I know and I am not pregnanr:) But I have been taking them for years, they have just the right and higher amounts of what I need in them, even though it sounds like a funny multi-vitamin to take:)
I take multivitamins but I would definitely prefer gummy bears to take every day! Great review, I’ll have to check these out.
I love these vitamins! I’ve bought them before and really liked them!
I only eat gummy vitamins because the other ones make me gag too!
I saw a packet of Smarty Pants at my sister’s house the other day and thought it was candy!
Gummy vitamins make it easier! I also have a little pill organizer for vitamins

I am the worst with my vitamins. I do use a protein powder that has enough greens and nutrients to cover me probably, but I need to do a better job for sure!
I love these vitamins! I have been taking them for months!
I need to get better at this. I dont ever remember to take vitamins 😦
I have reminders on my phone to take them, and I leave them out on the counter so I see them first thing when I wake up in the morning 🙂
I take a multi vitamin, calcium, iron and Vitamin D.
These look really good – it’s like candy 🙂 I would definitely love to check them out – it would be fun to have a gummy multi vitamin.
Have a great weekend!!
I listen to my nutritionist and my own body
I take iron and vitamin c, as prescribed by my doctor.
I take my daily vitamins and eat lots of fruits.
I take daily vitamins!
