Wow, what a crazy week its been! Yesterday at work I really started to feel the stress and time crunch of only having one week left until Winter Break. On top of that, we have a lot going on at home right now (who doesn’t during the Holidays?), and I’m trying to keep on track with my Shamrock Half Marathon training. It makes me tired just thinking about everything on my to do list right now!
Despite how busy life is right now, there’s lot of exciting things going on too.
1. Today is one of my favorite days of the entire school year – its Pajama Day! Not only do I not have to wear dress clothes today, but I get to wear sweats to school!
2. This past week I received invitations for three different FitFluential campaigns. One of the many things I love about my ambassadorships are the opportunities that I receive to try out new products and share my thoughts on them with all of you. (Speaking of which, did you see my Holiday Gift Guide for Runners earlier this week? Be sure to check out the post and see how you can save up to 33% on a FlipBelt!)
3. I’m participating in the Holiday Card Swap that Meranda and Lacey from Fairytales and Fitness are currently hosting, and this week I received a card from Deborah of Confessions of a Mother Runner. I still need to get my card in the mail to my Secret Blogger – I promise I haven’t forgotten!
4. On Sunday I logged my 500th mile for charity! Its incredible to think about how many miles I’ve run and walked for charity through the use of the Charity Miles app. I can’t wait to see how long it takes me to log another 500!
5. We leave for Disney World exactly one week from today! This will be my first trip to Disney World at Christmas time, and I cannot wait to experience the Christmas time magic there! This will also be our first time back at Disney World with my in-laws since September 2011.
QOTD: What exciting things are going on in your life right now?
As always, thank you to the DC Trifecta Bloggers (Courtney from Eat Pray Run DC, Mar from Mar on the Run, and Cynthia from You Signed Up For What?!) for hosting the weekly Friday Five Link Up. Be sure to check out their posts as well!
Sounds like an exciting week! I am a teacher too and wish we had pajama day! :p
PS- I’m a little jealous of your Disney trip but it will be great, very exciting!

We’re very much looking forward to Disney. 🙂
That is really cool that you’ve logged the miles you’ve run for charity! I also participated in the holiday card swap and have received and sent my cards. So much fun!
Yes, I really hope my secret blogger forgives me for only getting my card into the mail today. Oops!
Yay for such exciting things! We only have one week of school left till we are out too! And…today is pajama day at MY school too lol! Hope you have a great weekend girl!
Yay for pajama day!
So fun that you are going to Disney World before Christmas. That is the best time to go IMHO. I love the decorations, MVMCP and the Osborne Family Lights display.
I can’t wait to see all the decorations and the Osborne Lights for the first time!
Have fun at Disney! I love seeing the Christmas decorations up, even during marathon weekend. My family went during Christmas when I was in middle school – I ended up sleeping through the New Year’s Eve fireworks.
Oh no! It looks like we’ll have some long days while we’re there. Have to try and see as much as possible!
Christmas time in Disney is always so magical! I love all of the decorations and seeing the characters in their holiday attire. Enjoy your trip!
Thanks Lisa!
Congrats on your 500th mile for charity! thats awesome! And again, have fun at Disney! We had a blast with our little ones when we went a few weeks ago. The castle lighting is especially magical this year. Don’t miss it!!
That’s very high on my to do list for while we’re there! 🙂
That’s impressive that you’ve logged so many charity miles! I hope you have a great trip 🙂 I’ve never seen Disney World at Christmas time but I’m sure it’s beautiful.
It looks beautiful in all of the pictures I’ve seen. I can’t wait to see Disney all decorated in person!
500 miles is a lot. Congratulations! Disney is so much fun during the holidays. Loved to go back again during this time.
Thanks Lacey!
woohoo – we did christmas at disney a few years ago and it was amazing! have the best time 🙂
Thanks Courtney!
Disney during their Christmas time is amazing, though I’ve never been able to experience it in December (it’s November when I’ve been the past two years) – I bet closer to Christmas is even more exciting! Enjoy 🙂
Thanks Heather!
That card exchange sounds like such a cool idea 🙂
Enjoy Disney! It really is extra magical at Christmas time.
Thanks Amy!
Can’t believe the holidays are almost here! Looking fwd to some family time this weekend.
The year has definitely flown by!
Sound like a great week! Congrats on reaching that Charity Miles milestone!
Thanks Liz!
