WIN Detergent Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I received this product for free through my affiliation with Fit Approach as a Sweat Pink Ambassador in exchange for a blog review.  I received no other compensation.  All opinions are my own.

One of the biggest challenges of having two runners in a household is the amount of laundry that it produces.  Not only do we have our regular clothes to wash, but we also have all those stinky athletic clothes to wash as well.  And there’s an even greater problem: regular detergent doesn’t always get the stink out.

That’s where WIN Detergent comes into play.  As a Sweat Pink Ambassador, I was given the opportunity to participate in the #SweatHardSmellGreat campaign and test out WIN Detergent.  To say I was excited was an understatement.

I received two bottles of WIN Detergent: one regular and one green.  Having never previously tried out a sports specific laundry detergent, I was very intrigued to test WIN out and see if it could get the stink out.  And you know what?  It actually worked!  I’ve used WIN Detergent with several loads of laundry (some just athletic clothes, some mixed with regular clothes in order to fill the washer), and have been very impressed with how fresh our clothes have smelled when they’ve come out of the machine.

WIN Detergent is specifically “designed to remove sweat, oil, and odors from technical athletic/sports apparel.”  It most definitely did that with all of our workout apparel, including clothes that we’ve had for years and have never truly smelled “clean,” even after being washed.  Some of our running clothes are smelling cleaner than they did the day that we bought them.

My one and only complaint with WIN Detergent has to do with its packaging.  Unlike most laundry detergent, WIN bottles have two caps, and a plastic tight seal underneath both of the caps.  I’m assuming this is because you can only order WIN Detergent online, so the extra packaging is likely for shipping purposes.  But still, its a lot of work to get to the detergent itself.

So, are you ready to give WIN Detergent a try?  Be sure to enter my Rafflecopter giveaway for your chance to win two full size bottles of WIN Detergent: one regular and one green.  This giveaway is open to readers in the lower 48 United States (sorry to those who live in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the U.S., but this limitation is set by WIN based on where they ship to), and will end at midnight on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
