I can’t believe how quickly time is passing by! It feels like just last week that I was 100 days out from running my first half marathon!
And in the coming 50 days, there are many activities on the calendar that I can’t wait to partake in, including the St. Jude Give Thanks Walk this weekend, Thanksgiving with my in-laws, Christmas with my parents and sisters, and many other fun activities that I can’t wait to share as part of my weekly recaps! I know that the next 50 days will fly by, but it’ll be super important that I not let our busy calendar distract me from keeping up with my training.
Since I started my half marathon training, I’ve logged over 160 miles (and since I started running back in March I’ve logged over 470 miles!). In the coming 50 days I know I’ll be logging many more miles, including more long runs ranging from 10 miles all the way up to a full 13.1 miles, before I start to taper at the end of December.
The 50 countdown to my first half marathon is on!
